Caretaking Poem

A man attached to the ground,



table hockey with no particular goal,



stares at the ground.



Caretaking. Taking care. Take. Care.



Stone upon stone, stick from path, caretaking.



In a glade, a small, stone bowl



Mud, leaves, muck.



Bend, scrape, pluck.



Clean. Water. Flows.



Blue, cold,warmth, thirst, gone.



A man attached to the ground,

looks up at the sky. A leaf falls.



Into the fountain.
